Hence, with the publication of this inaugral entry, the blog of Mariel L. Y. K. has been thrust into being.
It will be called "The Summit" as I am using this blog to get my mind on top of things and to summit new truths.
Perhaps a bit lofty, but that is the goal. Whether or not it comes close to completing that is immaterial, and completely up to you, the reader.
The sub-goal is to create interesting reading material to disseminate information and to present some concepts in a new light.
Things you are likely to find here: fictional stories, notes about touch-enabled applications and human/computer interaction, plant musings, exclamations and general cheer regarding the outdoors and sunny weather, updates on local politics as pertains to current environmental issues, musings on life and human nature, the occasional parental tidbit or sports score, favorite recipes and local haunts, idle chat regarding good literary endeavours
Things you are not likely to find here: reviews on horror movies, opinionated rants, and pet pictures (as I have none). Honestly, though, those are about the only things I can rule out at this time. Everything else is fair game.
